Origins

The oldest
document
The oldest document that
bears the signature of a probable ancestor Bézanaire-Besner,
read "Bésaniare" and date of 1585. It was a contract passed in
Monblanc, in Gers, 15 km of Savères. Namely, it's a signature
in block letters (square capital letters), quite frequent for that
era. The "A" is written in the Basque way, with a horizontal line on
top of the letter.
